Accommodation at Trogon House
Malabar Villa, the main lodge area, comprises of a beautiful lounge area surrounded by glass walls, spacious dining areas, an intimate bar with fireplace and expansive pool deck with uninterrupted views of the forest.
Malabar Master Suite: This suite features a modern, open plan bathroom with large oval bath and separate glass shower overlooking the forest. Room features include a flat screen satellite TV, king size beds, electric blankets, built-in cupboards, tea/coffee making facilities, bar fridge, small lounge area with double seater couch and coffee table. Bathrobes and slippers are also provided. This room has direct access out onto the Malabar pool deck as it forms part of the main villa.
Standard Twin Suite: This is the second room that forms part of the Malabar Villa. A spacious bedroom with 2 x ¾ beds (or KING optional). There is a flat screen TV, heated wall panel, sitting area, bar fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, built-in cupboards and stunning views into the forest. The en-suite bathroom is hidden through the built-in cupboards and offers a large glass shower, basin unit and toilet.
Deluxe Forest Suites: These 2 identical suites feature an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet overlooking the forest. The bathroom remains light due to the sky-lit roofs. The bedroom area is comfortable and offers a flat screen satellite TV, king sized bed with electric blankets, tea/coffee making facilities as well as bar fridge. There is a moderate sitting area that leads out onto a private balcony which overlooks the forest below.
Honeymoon Suite: Our impressive Honeymoon Suite is located down in the forest just below Malabar Villa with nothing around you but forest. The room is made of glass walls that wrap around 360 degrees which allows all the natural light to flood in and forest to engulf the room and its guests. The room is completely open plan, with its full bathroom offering a large glass shower and beautiful oval bath. The king-sized bed has electric blankets and looking directly into the forest. There is also a flat screen TV as well as a stunning wrought iron fireplace. A small balcony gives you access to the outside and overlooks the indigenous forest.
Dining at Trogon House
Breakfast is included in the rate and to start off the day we offer a delicious Fruit Cocktail, followed by a hearty FULL English breakfast. Breakfast is served either on the pool deck overlooking the magnificent valley below or inside close to the fireplace on those fresh winter mornings.
A 3-Course Dinner is served every night to our guests. All meals and menus are planned and prepared daily, so we will always ask you at the beginning of your reservation whether you’d like to have dinner with us on your evening of arrival. If you have any preference, please let us know and if our cooks can deliver we’ll gladly do so. Please also inform us of any dietary requirements so that we are well prepared before your arrival.

The Forest Spa is situated at the far end of Trogon House, allowing for maximum privacy and relaxation surrounded by the forest and engulfed by the beauty of nature.
